Job Description

Job Summary:

Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI) is seeking a highly skilled Student Engagement Specialist to join our team in the Promise Zone Program. As a key member of our school-based initiative, you will play a vital role in providing essential support services to students in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Identification and Support: Proactively identify students who require social, behavioral, and mental health support, and connect them with opportunities for growth and development within a school's multi-tiered system of support.
  • Intervention Strategies: Implement intervention strategies as developed and shared with the school support teams, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Family Engagement: Engage with students and families to foster positive home-school connections, promoting a collaborative approach to student success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school administrators, social workers, and other school team members to ensure service expectations are met, and serve as a resource to faculty regarding social and behavioral concerns of youth.
  • Culturally Inclusive Environment: Support the implementation of a culturally inclusive and supportive school climate that centers on the voices and needs of youth.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Conduct other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the Promise Zone Program.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A minimum of an Associate's degree in Human Services, Education, or a related field, with 2 years of professional experience working with school-age youth, or equivalent education and work experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Background Screenings: Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Full vaccination against the COVID-19 virus, with reasonable accommodations made for qualified religious, medical, or medical/disability needs.
