Job Description
Responsibilities: Learn quickly and work independently while maintaining successful daily business practices and ushering in a new era of sales growth and business relationships.
- Lead sales initiatives for JCL Service Company, LLC developing clients for various businesses under JCL, including JCL Safety Services, LLC, JCL Risk Services, LLC, and JCL Materials Coordination Services, LLC.
- Demonstrate expertise in JCL's products and services.
- Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert them into clients.
- Reach out to new and existing customers to address their needs.
- Showcase product features to demonstrate how they solve customer challenges.
- Maintain contact lists and engage with customers to nurture relationships.
- Contribute to the formulation of Business Development Plans, Marketing and Sales strategies, and foster both new and existing client connections.
- Participate in pre-bid and pre-job meetings and kickoffs as required.
- Attend weekly meetings and engage in sales meetings and client visits.
- Establish connections with clients at various organizational levels.
- Collaborate closely with Senior leadership and key team members to achieve sales targets.
- Be willing to travel approximately 75% of the time annually, with increased travel during peak business development periods.
- Coordinate with JCL Senior Leadership to ensure timely and appropriate sales bids.
- Optimize travel schedules to maximize client visits and resource utilization.
- Contribute to setting policy decisions related to sales and marketing.
- Participate in trade shows and client engagement events such as VPPPA, AFPM, and SynGas.
- Devise and oversee processes to enhance productivity and drive growth.
- Create and implement strategies for client retention and acquisition with a focus on ethical sales practices.
- Perform any other assigned job responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Development within the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Proven track record of building and sustaining client relationships through ethical business conduct.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple clients and bids concurrently.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. for any employer.
