Job Description

Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

SUMMARY: Handles bookkeeping tasks such as coding, recording, posting, and managing day-to-day financial transactions. Manages accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes. Updates and maintains accurate accounting records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishes a system for tracking financial transactions by creating a chart of accounts and setting bookkeeping policies.
  • Verifies, allocates, and records transactions to maintain subsidiary accounts.
  • Reconciles entries to balance subsidiary accounts.
  • Transfers subsidiary account summaries to maintain the general ledger.
  • Prepares trial balances and reconciles entries to balance the general ledger.
  • Files documents to keep historical records organized.
  • Analyzes and summarizes account data to create financial reports.
  • Ensures compliance with legal requirements by studying and enforcing regulations and advising management accordingly.
  • Contributes to team goals by achieving related outcomes as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, work, and office procedures. Background in certified payrolls, accounts payable, and accounts receivable preferred.
