The recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting candidates to fill open positions within the organization. They will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.

The following are some of the responsibilities for this role, as others may be added based on business needs:

ResponsibilitiesJob Intake Calls with Hiring ManagersSource Candidates (i.e., job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals)Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidates based on qualifications, experience, and fit with the role and company cultureConduct initial phone screenings or interviews to assess a candidate's suitability for the position.

Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually.
Assess candidates' technical skills, behavioral competencies, and cultural fit with the organization.
Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and feedback.
Keep candidates engaged and informed about their status.
Work with hiring managers to extend job offers to selected candidates.
Assist in negotiating compensation, benefits, and other terms of employment.

Candidate Pipeline Management (maintain a candidate database and ensure it is up to date with potential talent for future hiring needs.)Manage and track candidate applications, communication, and recruitment progress through ATS.Promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process.

Generate reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process.

Ensure an excellent candidate experience by creating a positive and professional experience for candidates, regardless of the outcome of the recruitment process.

Provide feedback and closure to unsuccessful candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers and team members to gather feedback on candidates and continuously improve the recruitment process.
Represent the organization professionally and positively to candidates, both in-person and through written communication.

RequirementsRequired Qualifications:


Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least three years of experience in recruitment or a related field.

Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Paylocity preferred.
Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Proven track record of successful recruitment and hiring.
Desired CharacteristicsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods.
Use of a computer and phone for most of the workday.
