Optiv is seeking a strategic and collaborative product marketing manager to own the narrative and go to market plans for Optiv services and solutions. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, you will align stakeholders across the business to drive growth, awareness, and adoption of the Optiv solution portfolio. You'll be the glue that binds our portfolio strategy to the go to market messaging, tactics and activities we need to achieve results for your solution areas.

How you'll make an impact

  • Go to market strategy: proactively collaborate and drive alignment across our innovation management, product, sales, alliances, marketing, and other teams to define and orchestrate the cross-functional GTM plans
  • Product expertise: be the go-to expert and source of truth for your solution areas, defining compelling use cases, narratives, marketing plans and content that inform and engage internal and external audiences
  • Product alignment: work closely with our practices, innovation management and partner teams to define the solutions roadmap, representing market growth opportunity and client needs
  • Differentiated messaging: leverage strategic and market insights to develop differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales teams to be successful
  • Market intelligence: understand our buyers - their challenges, industries, buying processes, intent signals and where they get information, including the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make
  • Market landscape: maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape and trends, as well as our competition and how they position and message their products
  • Sales enablement collaboration: partner with our enablement team to develop training and content that equips the field to successfully sell Optiv services and solutions
  • Data insights: regularly evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs that support your solution areas and report back to the business on required changes
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience preferably in cybersecurity or B2B technology
  • Ability to grasp and present the value of Optiv services and solutions in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our clients' challenges
  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and flexibility
  • Excellent people and organizational skills to successfully interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what's working and what isn't working
  • A strong public speaker and solid writer, comfortable delivering presentations and briefings at events, conferences, and webinars to internal and external audiences
  • Hardworking self-starter with a "no-task-is-too-small" mindset and willingness to go above and beyond
  • Ability to prioritize on the fly and manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
  • Ability to apply the Pragmatic Marketing framework
  • Experience using Adobe Workfront
