One of the country's fastest-growing Biotechnology companies is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Hopkinton, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, test, and repair of electro-mechanical systems.

This opportunity to support the operations of life-saving biotechnological science begins as a 6-month W2 contract that offers full benefits and the potential to extend or convert to permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and repair electro-mechanical systems
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of components using schematics, diagrams, and other defined plans
  • Conduct operation testing and fault isolation on systems an equipment using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatuses
  • Identify measures or indicators of system performance and optimize these processes

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent technician experience is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software
  • Ability to digest and understand electro-mechanical drawings and SOPs
  • Strong testing, troubleshooting, and error resolution skills

Physical Requirements & Expectations:

  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to work overtime from time to time as necessary
