QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end closing entries and analysis
  • Assist in coordinating timely monthly closes following GAAP and Governmental Fund Accounting principles
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconcile revenue and expenses for various programs and grants
  • Generate monthly financial reports for senior management using PeopleSoft nVision report tool
  • Analyze budget variances and prior year performance
  • Maintain FTE and cost pool allocation tables
  • Create expense and profitability schedules for directors and program managers
  • Support in budget preparation, salary detail schedules, and budget worksheets
  • Prepare and import financial reports to designated agencies
  • Aid in preparing financial statements for audits
  • Manage ledger for the Representative Payee Program
  • Submit grant expenditure reports to funders
  • Other related duties as assigned
