Accounting and Financial Services Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage and execute the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Prepare, review, and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
* Maintain and reconcile inventory records, working closely with production and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting of inventory levels and valuation.
* Handle all aspects of general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate recording of debits and credits.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other key financial documents.
* Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and V-lookups, to analyze financial data and support decision-making processes.
* Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
* Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in Excel, with strong knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookups, and other advanced functions.
* Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting.
* Experience with inventory accounting and management in a manufacturing setting.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
