About the Role:

Fine Fettle is seeking a highly skilled Head of Marketing to lead our marketing department. This role will be instrumental in driving Fine Fettle's position as a market leader, driving key objectives in our retail and branded products businesses to achieve our mission, dominate cannabis markets, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers.

The Work You'll Do:
  • Lead the marketing department with a fearless approach, ensuring a balance between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans that are aligned with Fine Fettle's business objectives in target markets.
  • Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with product, sales, and customer experience.
  • Oversee the development and management of our brand identity in both retail and wholesale, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Develop our local outreach strategy and team to strengthen presence in our markets.
  • Lead the marketing team in the development of digital communication strategy.
  • Manage and support the project manager to drive operational excellence and create managerial leverage to focus on more strategic responsibilities.
  • Manage the product brand marketing team to strengthen Fine Fettle's B2B and B2C marketing efforts in wholesale, creating strategies and tactics to convert wholesale customers as well as purchasing dispensaries.
  • Oversee product marketing's role in the stage gate process to ensure product development is consistent with company goals, on brand, economical, and in alignment with the production team's capabilities.

  • You possess a strong understanding of both B2C and B2B marketing dynamics.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing marketing departments in the cannabis industry.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or master's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing marketing teams.
