Working under the guidance of the Program Manager I (PM I), the Emergency Services Coordinator (ESC) will carry out intricate tasks related to federal and state disaster logistical operations within the Cal OES Disaster Logistics External Support Branch. The ESC will operate in a challenging and ever-changing environment, necessitating independent action while effectively managing a regular workload and promptly attending to short-term tasks. Meeting all regulatory and internal deadlines on assignments is essential for the ESC, who may also lead specific projects. Travel on short notice might be necessary, providing support as required to the Logistics Management Directorate.


Working Conditions
  • DMV Pull Program - Participation in this program is mandatory. The position(s) require(s) a valid Driver's License (DL). Specific details about your DL are to be provided in your application, including DL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
  • Conflict of Interest - This role falls under the Conflict of Interest Code and mandates the completion of Form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Non-compliance with Code requirements may jeopardize the appointment.
