Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide financial operations policy guidance to the Cal OES Executive Leadership team and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Represent Cal OES in interactions with external stakeholders, including state and federal agencies, to ensure compliance with funding programs and regulations.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the effective management of resources.
  • Collaborate with subordinate managers to ensure the integrity of program activities and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and accounting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective administrative policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
