**Account Manager / Sales Customer Support**

*Praxis Packaging continues to grow We have an immediate opening for an **Account Manager** to act as the Internal & External liaison for customers and in support of Sales activities. Responsibilities include ensuring that all required documentation and critical details are communicated clearly and timely to all groups such as Quality, Production, and Warehouse/Shipping-Receiving. This job is critical to ensure customer satisfaction.*

Pay for the role is $ /hr., depending on experience.

Some flexibility to establish shift, but generally shift is M-F from 7:00/8:00am to 3:30/4:40pm.

Some Saturday coverage may be required but should be fairly rare.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**

Establish strong working relationships with customers to understand requirements. (May be required to travel to the customer, facilitate on-site meetings, daily communication to customer on large projects, etc.)

Handle all customer calls; respond professionally to inquiries and special requests from customers.

Process job cards for Production.

Review individual quote/Purchase Order per the customers pricing structure. As needed, participate as a member of the quote team.

Work closely with Master Scheduler and Operations to ensure schedule and job completion meets customer needs.

Help Production with new project set-up.

Monitor inventory and purchasing as needed on all Praxis supplied materials and all customer supplied inventories.

Meet with customers on new projects, changes to current procedures, and schedule prioritizing (update Purchase Order status when needed).

Complete purchase order requests for materials needed for customer Purchase Orders.

Update customer on status of their Purchase Orders.

Work with Production and Quality Assurance on work instructions.

Assist and be present for all new project set-ups.

Ensure the timely receipt of orders and entry into the computer system.

Assist other Account Managers and cross train on all accounts.

Maintain consistent communication with customer base; including, but not limited to: phone calls, emails, meetings (onsite and at Praxis) and working directly onsite customer premises.

**Knowledge & Experience:**

High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree or equivalent combination preferred

3-5 years Customer Service or Account Mgmt. or similar experience required

The ability to work independently, without supervision required

Ability to organize priorities and workload required

Good computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred
