\tAbout The Position\r
\t\r
\tThe Marketing Intern will support the Marketing department and focus on the areas of experiential marketing, e-commerce, and social media/CSR.\r
\t\r
\t

SCHEDULE:
32-40 hours per week – some weekends. Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Internship starts in June 2024 – End of September (will adjust for school schedules)\r
\t\r
\t

WAGE:
$20.00 per hour\r
\t \r
\r
\tPrimary Responsibilities\r
\t\r
\tThe Intern will have two primary focuses:\r
\t\r
\tField Marketing\r
\t \r
\r
\t\r
\t\tPlan, organize, and execute all activations.\r
\t\r
\t\tDetermine event budget and manage expenses.\r
\t\r
\t\tDevelop tactics to execute various summertime experiential sampling events to execute field events with the Mariners, Seahawks (including all open to the public Training camp days), and other local community events.\r
\t\r
\t\tDevelop tactics to execute significant brand presence at Seafair and Torchlight parade. Manage the brand ambassador team (4-6 persons) and 10-15 employee volunteers.\r

\tEcommerce/Socia Media\r
\t \r
\r
\t\r
\t\tWith Agency and Brand team, assist in monitoring social media outlets.\r
\t\r
\t\tDrive execution of contests, promo, and giveaways.\r
\t\r
\t\tAssist in the proliferation of social creators and influencer groups.\r
\t\r
\t\tEvaluate and optimize brand and product focus on , working with brand and social media teams to drive traffic and sales.\r
\t\r
\t\tPerforms other related duties as assigned.\r

\tQualifications\r
\t \r
\r
\t\r
\t\tHigh School Diploma; some college preferred.\r
\t\r
\t\tDriver's License/Transportation\r
\t\r
\t\tDemonstrated strong work ethic and follow through at a variety of positions.\r
\t\r
\t\tUndergrad working towards a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar field required.\r
\t\r
\t\tSeattle Sports (preferred)\r
\t\r
\t\tSelf-starter\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to successfully work both independently and in a group.\r
\t\r
\t\tMust be able to work the week of Seafair (August 2nd– August 4th) and the Torchlight Parade (July 29th).\r
