Job Description:

As an **Electrical Engineer**, your main responsibility will be to conduct detailed electrical and instrumentation engineering for our industrial clients. The primary focus will be on industrial electrical systems, covering instrumentation, controls, communications, and low- and medium-voltage power systems in various industrial facilities such as oil and gas, mining, and manufacturing plants.

Your tasks will involve performing design calculations, creating equipment specifications, assisting in procurement, documenting existing systems in the field, collaborating directly with clients for planning and reporting, developing detailed electrical design drawings and documents for construction and future maintenance, conducting electrical studies for new and existing systems, programming protection relays, VFDs, and related equipment, among other activities.

You will also work on designing industrial power, control, and instrumentation systems, manage project engineering functions like scheduling, estimating, tracking, and communication, conduct electrical system studies, and occasionally be involved in marketing initiatives.


Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is desirable. **5+ years** of experience as an electrical engineer in an industrial environment; proficiency in electrical-system and arc-flash studies is required.

You should have a good understanding of standard electrical systems drawings and documentation including electrical plans, conduit and cable schedules, one-line diagrams, MCC and switchgear layouts, electrical panel schedules, wiring diagrams, motor control schematics, P&IDs, lighting plans, and more. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and other common software is expected. Familiarity with relevant IEEE standards and NFPA codes, especially NFPA 70, is a plus.

**Mobility** throughout industrial facilities, involving tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders, walking long distances, and lifting up to 50 pounds, is essential for this role.
