1st = 7:00am - 3:00pm

2nd = 3:00pm – 11:00pm

3rd = 11:00pm – 7:00am

Description:

1). Monitoring the flow of milk from incoming tankers to the drying process.

2). Dumping powder into batches and communicating with the production department about the batches and types of production they will be running.

3). Startup, run and clean the standardizer machine.

4).Maintain proper quality of production and safety standards for specific product/customers.

5). Organizing and cleaning work area and machines.

6). Assemble/disassemble pumps

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

1)Production Experience

2)Candidates that have worked on a production line, food line, or some type of production equipment and understand how things run

3)At Least 1+ year of experience in production/factory.

4)Basic math skills

5)Candidates need to know basic math (ie: , Verndale batches are bagged in increments of 50.

6)Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout their shift

7)Candidates need to be able to lift bags of powdered milk 5 - 10x per shift. Sometimes this is lifting over their head.

8)High School Diploma

Employee Value Proposition (EVP) Benefits of being hired full time:

  1. Shift premiums are .50 2nd shift/$1.00 3rd Shift.
  2. Health/Dental/Vision insurance. $25 weekly co-pay. Total cost to the company is just over $25,000 per year for a family.
  3. $400 cross-training bonus for knowing any job outside the job you are positioned in. This is 2x per year...June and December.
  4. Perfect attendance bonus = 5hrs every month. Also, every two consecutive months starting from January they earn a Paid bonus day.
  5. Double time after 56hrs.
  6. $1hr extra for being certified by the state.
  7. 1wk paid vacation from the first day hired full-time.
  8. 401k after a year. They contribute $28, VernDale matches with $72 and contributes $45 if they don't contribute anything.
  9. 20/30 bonus in December. They get .20 for every straight time hour worked and .30 for every OT hr worked.
  10. 7 paid holidays.
  11. $1hr. raise after a year. Next raise would be after 3yrs which is another $1.
