Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of HR or supervisory experience preferred.
  • PHR certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a labor environment with union contracts is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with iCiMS and Ultipro is beneficial.
  • Ability to engage with various organizational levels to foster a positive culture.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to HR.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Language Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting documents in English, including safety guidelines and procedural manuals. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and calculations related to financial transactions.

Reasoning Ability: Capable of applying common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, use hands, and lift objects up to 50 pounds. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment: The work environment is typically moderate to very loud, with exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke.
