  • Daily shift change between oncoming and offgoing shift.
  • Train new staff, advise, and remind staff what to do in emergency situations.
  • Always remain professional with all staff, residents and visitors.
  • Report all resident complaints/grievances to management each time it happens.
  • Counsel staff members for tardiness, poor work performance and med errors. Must inform ED and or RCC before counseling.
  • Check all Narc Books daily and counsel for discrepancies.
  • File as needed in between med pass.
  • Update assignment sheets, shower sheets and divide workload fairly. Make sure extra copies are readily available.
  • The supervisor must walk Memory Care each day and report any issues witnessed during the walk through.
  • Auditing the carts weekly and making sure all medications are in and all discontinued or expired medications are removed. Management must be made aware of medications that cannot or have not been filled by the pharmacy for whatever reason.
  • Monitor trash removal from resident rooms and monitor staff leaving the facility on breaks.
  • Handles and corrects and reports all grievances while management is not in the community.
  • Assists with monthly weights and quarterly selfmedication evaluations.
  • Communicates with all Drs for new medication orders/changes, renewals, DC's along with any behavior changes or issues.
  • Follow up on all incident reports, hospital out and returns have been properly documented and families have been called.
