Key Responsibilities:

As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, your daily tasks will include:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures to maintain a pristine appearance.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, tables, countertops, and sinks.
  • Ensuring the kitchen area remains clean and sanitary.
  • Washing windows to enhance the overall aesthetic.
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping hard floors to ensure safety and hygiene.
  • Cleaning tiles across all properties.
  • Shampooing carpets as needed.
  • Utilizing cleaning materials safely and effectively.
  • Employing cleaning equipment such as vacuums and mops.
  • Restocking bathroom supplies to ensure availability.
  • Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces for clarity.
  • Emptying trash receptacles and managing waste disposal.
  • Monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying the supervisor when replenishment is necessary.
  • Reporting any required repairs or replacements promptly.
  • Following supervisor instructions and completing tasks safely.
  • Identifying and reporting safety hazards or concerns.
  • Performing any other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or maintenance role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitizing techniques to meet various standards.
  • Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and equipment usage.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and modify work processes accordingly.
  • Strong listening skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
