Hours: Day Shift - Full time hours and very flexible to meet your scheduling needs

Working under direction of a Facility Maintenance Custodial Lead, the Custodian candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Keep commercial and institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintains an adequate inventory of hygiene/cleaning supplies to meet routine requirements.
  • Operate floor cleaning and other cleaning equipment.
  • Remove trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean, wash, wax and buff offices, hallways, storage/warehouse areas, restrooms, windows, kitchen areas and associated spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, clean and/or scrub walls, passenger elevators, glass, fixtures and stairs.
  • Dust woodwork and furniture.
  • Maintain and re-supply restrooms and perform routine restroom checks.
  • Remove and empty trash and garbage containers and deliver collected refuse to the loading dock.
  • Shampoo carpets, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Clean and sweep shop areas.
  • Clean snow and debris from building entrances.
  • Comprehend written and oral instructions.
  • Monitor building for maintenance/safety/security issues and report any violations to immediate Supervisor or Management.
  • Adhere to safety practices and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.
  • Citizenship Required-US Citizen.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have two (2) years janitorial experience including skills in the proper selection and application of cleaning solutions, and other materials, and in the operation of janitorial equipment and/or High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

Other Responsibilities:
