Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver metrology and calibration engineering services across a diverse range of electronic testing equipment utilizing tailored manual or automated software routines.
  • Guarantee compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and relevant reviews.
  • Identify and execute strategic enhancements to equipment and processes that align with the customer's objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance to testing and inspection teams as well as field personnel regarding testing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures pertinent to metrology support.
  • Manage a technical library of equipment and oversee the calibration status and schedule for all instruments.
  • Design testing protocols based on manufacturer specifications.
  • Initiate procurement requests for vendor repairs and replacement tools.
  • Maintain regular communication with customer management and project management regarding metrology support and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Associate of Science (AS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, along with two years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in metrology fundamentals.
  • Experience in calibrating and repairing electronic test equipment from leading manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of logistics and procurement best practices to support program needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing requirements, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey processes and procedures to various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize tasks and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships with team members and external partners.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% for CONUS and OCONUS assignments.
