Position Summary:

The role of the Customer Service Lead at Earth Fare Asheville is crucial for maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring a safe and customer-oriented environment. This position involves a balanced mix of operational tasks, cashier management, and prompt responses to customer service opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Upholding and supporting Earth Fare's vision and customer service standards
  • Assisting in cash register reconciliation and daily balancing
  • Preparing bank deposits and change orders
  • Coaching and training cashiers on procedures
  • Promoting loss prevention and security awareness
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the department

Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in math, bookkeeping, and cash handling
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:
  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience required
  • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Earth Fare experience preferred

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Physical agility for bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and standing
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced customer service environment
