Responsibilities:

  • Perform pest control, weed control, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care, and manage other agricultural pests in various residential settings.
  • Conduct physical inspections of residential structures to identify pests, assess the severity of infestations, and determine structural damage levels.
  • Create diagrams and charts indicating the type, extent, and location of infestations.
  • Engage with residential customers to discuss work requirements, provide innovative sales pitches, and coordinate activities with branch personnel.
  • Complete administrative tasks as directed by supervisors, such as ordering supplies, preparing reports, and contacting customers.
  • Estimate costs, plan work schedules, and handle company funds accurately.
  • Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicles in a safe and clean condition.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the initial 90 days of employment (company-sponsored)
  • Able to work independently in the field and manage route-based tasks

Requirements:

We need candidates with a clean driving record, capable of passing a drug test and physical exam. Candidates should meet physical job demands and safely perform tasks that may involve:

  • Using ladders within weight limits
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Working in various weather conditions
  • Performing tasks like standing, walking, bending, crawling, lifting, and carrying for extended periods, including in crawl spaces, attics, and basements
  • Climbing ladders and working at heights, including in attics
