As a General Fabricator at our company, you will be responsible for operating painting and other fabrication department operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Uphold Helmer values through personal productivity, maintaining quality work, fostering internal/external relationships, actively participating in Continuous Improvement practices, and supporting team initiatives.
  • Adhere to workplace safety procedures.
  • Ensure regular attendance, punctuality, and willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver quality products and service.
  • Perform various tasks such as machine loading/unloading, deburring, sanding, bead blasting, grinding, shearing, sawing, paint line tasks, spot welding, fastener presses, and material movement.
  • Record nonconformances and follow established procedures and GMP requirements.
  • Maintain Daily Log.
Qualifications:

Relative Work Experience: Minimum of 6 months' relevant work experience

Key Competencies:
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately, focus on details, and ensure precise documentation.
  • Proficiency in using basic measuring devices.

Physical Requirements: Responsibilities may involve sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, carrying, grasping, lifting objects up to 30 pounds, and working in temperature-controlled environments.

Base Compensation: $18.00 per hour
