Job Summary:
As a Plant Engineering employee at Saint Francis Hospital, your main responsibilities include operating equipment in the Central Power Plant and the Hospital, monitoring alarms, performing maintenance on H.V.A.C. equipment, and conducting chemical analysis on water and fuel systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:
City of Tulsa 1st Class Engineers License required. Oklahoma State/Tulsa Mechanical Journeyman License and Universal Refrigeration License preferred.
Work Experience:
- 4 years related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Seeking individuals with a wide range of mechanical and computer skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to make decisions independently, and willingness to work varied hours.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Operate equipment, monitor alarms, perform maintenance, and respond to emergencies. Participate in the energy management program and assist in other duties as needed. Support the Hospital's mission, vision, values, and goals.
Decision Making:
Carry out non-routine procedures under changing conditions with guidance from a supervisor.
Working Relationships:
Collaborate with internal and external customers, healthcare professionals, and staff.
