As a Stationary Engineer with Saint Francis Health System, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment in the Central Power Plant and Hospital. This includes monitoring and testing alarms, performing maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment, and conducting chemical analysis on water and fuel associated with HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain equipment in the Central Power Plant and Hospital
- Monitor and test alarms, responding accordingly
- Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment
- Conduct chemical analysis on water and fuel associated with HVAC systems
- Serve as supervisor of engineering in the absence of the supervisor
- Participate in the energy management program
- High School Diploma or GED
- City of Tulsa 1st Class Engineers License required
- Oklahoma State/Tulsa Mechanical Journeyman License and Universal refrigeration License preferred
- 4 years related experience
You will work closely with internal and external customers, including other healthcare professionals and staff, to coordinate activities and provide support.
Decision MakingYou will be responsible for carrying out non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from supervisor.
Special Job DimensionsThis role requires the ability to work varied hours and be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision.
