Overview

Gray Malin is a photography lifestyle brand and e-commerce site. We sell fine art photography as well as other goods/products for the home on our site We are currently looking for a full-time Ecommerce Manager with extensive Shopify experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has managed front and back end website operations including merchandising, operational analysis and overall site optimization.

This is a role that includes a variety of duties, with the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience behind the scenes of a growing fine-art photography business. Looking for someone who is independent, dependable, organized, pays attention to detail and interested in growing within the company.

Include, but not limited to:

Ecommerce Management:

  • Manage front and back end site operations on Shopify
  • Analyze customer behavior on-site and make recommendations for continuous improvement easing the path to purchase and checkout process
  • Ideate on improvements to site —owning the development process and update launches
  • Advise on site map and structure of and what improvements can be made ensuring optimal user experience, functionality and performance
  • Owner of all site launches from sales to new product launches, setting the timeline needed to execute properly
  • Lead the ecommerce strategy for the Gray Malin brand driving online sales growth and enhancing the overall shopping and user experience to increase conversion and AOV.
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies to increase website conversion rates and improve online sales performance. Conducts A/B testing, usability studies, and site analytics to identify and address conversion barriers.
  • Responsible for the Gray Malin Loyalty program, researching ways to increase engagement, awareness and conversion
  • Manage existing and new software integrations, vendor relationships and associated feature roadmaps

Customer & Ecommerce Program Execution:

  • Develop and implement a strategic ecommerce roadmap including site management, product pricing, and promotional calendars for each channel, and all customers (dtc, trade, wholesale).
  • Deliver regular insights and updates on website and customer programs to leadership
  • Optimize wholesale & trade sales programs
  • Oversee end-to-end fulfillment processes, from order placement to shipment, ensuring accuracy, timelines, and shipping compliances
  • Coordinate with third party logistics providers to optimize shipping and delivery processes while monitoring transportations schedules
  • Foster strong relationships with key accounts & customers while always searching for better ways to optimize service

Experience and Skills:

Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree is required. A major in Marketing, Business or Communication is preferred.

Experience required: At least 6 years of marketing and/or social media management for a brand.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal, and excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience working on Shopify and Shopify+ including store backend & content management
  • Strong understanding of home décor and interest in lifestyle brands.
  • Background in Ecommerce including experience utilizing Meta/Google/Shopify channels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong awareness of DTC best practices and platform knowledge, understanding measurement metrics of success
  • Proficiency with online analytical tools like Google Analytics as well as native platform reporting tools for Meta, TikTok, etc. and social scheduling applications
