Qualifications for Success

  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships
Experience
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of ICC Building Codes and land use regulations
  • Computer literacy and experience with permitting software
Education and Training

High school diploma or GED equivalent

License or Certificate

ICC certification as a Permit Technician required or ability to obtain within 12 months

Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered
