Duties including:

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Assist dentist during dental procedures
  • Take digital dental xrays
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
  • Manage patient records and appointments
  • Perform front desk duties as needed such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, processing payments and insurance claims, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
  • Xray certification
  • Knowledge of Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar dental software
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professionally appropriate appearance and personal hygiene
