POSITION OVERVIEW


Hyzon Motors is growing its Corporate Human Resources team and is searching for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the team.

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Senior Human Resources Generalist will have exposure and experience in all areas of HR while supporting the enablement of the business.

The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for the compliance, assessment, development, implementation, execution, and evaluation of the overall provision of human resources services, policies and programs for Hyzon Motors.

The Senior HR Business Partner will lead employee orientation, new hires, employee engagement and help drive the employee culture at Hyzon Motors.

The Senior HR Business Partner is an onsite position in Hyzon Motor's Bolingbrook, IL or Troy, MI facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist human resources department to handle all HR related items (Learning, Talent, Resourcing, Organizational

Development/Design)

Establishing ROI for each of Hyzon's HR Pillars "LTRODD" (Learning, Talent, Resourcing, Organizational

Development/Design)
Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
Recommend strategies to motivate employees including engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion projects.
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, conducting pre-employment screening, issuing employment contracts as needed.
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
Undertake tasks around performance management.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
Employee on-boarding, development, needs assessment and training.
Managing conflict resolution for the organization as a human resource professional for the organization.
Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
Manage the organization's employee database and prepare reports.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Assist with budget monitoring and payroll.
Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Support key performance indicators within their area of expertise as well as across all business and functional areas to achieve exceptional organizational results – blue sky for everyone

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in human resources or similar field of expertise is required.
6 -10 yearsofexperience is preferred.
Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
Excellent record-keeping skills.

PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification.
Excellent communication skills with all mediums and audiences
Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software.
Proficiency in MS Office (to intermediate level as a minimum) including Word, Excel, PowerPoint is mandatory.
Experience with the implementation and integration of systems eg. ATS, LMS, HRIS, PM
LTRODD (learning, talent, resourcing, and organizational

development/design)
