Scaffolder – O&M North Slope Construction

JOB SUMMARY
The Scaffolder will build, erect, and dismantle various types of scaffolds, working platforms, and handrails.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
•Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine materials and equipment required for assigned work.
•Assemble, erect, and dismantle various types of scaffolds.
•Use woodworking tools, power tools, and perform basic joinery techniques.
•Perform material take-offs and material requirements.
•Assist Scaffolding Crew with building and erecting various types of scaffolding.
•Must be comfortable working at various heights.
•Other duties may be assigned.
•Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
•Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
•A Valid Driver's License is required.
•A High School Diploma or GED is required.
•The ability to work 80.5 – 84 hours a week on a 3x3 or 4x2 rotation is required.
•A minimum of one (1) year of 2,000 hours of related training and experience is required.
•A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•At least one year of experience working in the Oil and Gas industry, Petrochemical industry, on the North Slope, or in an Arctic environment is preferred.
•Scaffold builder's card is preferred.
