What does the job entail?
PLEASE NOTE: This position is for the SECOND SHIFT, operating from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Coordinate and oversee the production of designated roofing lines
- Adjust production schedules based on changing needs
- Address technical inquiries related to product manufacturing
- Handle employee relations matters, emphasizing safety, productivity, and team morale
- Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with operating standards
- Prepare production reports and manage wage adjustments
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Education background including two years of college in Business or Production Management
- Previous experience in a manufacturing plant with diverse product lines
- Supervisory experience with teams of at least 10 individuals
- Proficiency in asphalt roofing manufacturing or similar industrial environments
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
- Knowledge in the field is a plus
