Job Description

YAI is a leading organization that empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals daily. Join our team at Suite 2, where we provide support to a diverse group of individuals aged 35-85 with unique personalities. Our residents love exploring local dining spots, shopping, and embarking on exciting trips to destinations like Atlantic City. They also enjoy experiencing the vibrant cultural scene in New York City, from museums to car shows. At Suite 2, residents require varying levels of assistance with daily activities ranging from personal care to mobility support.

We are seeking a compassionate candidate who is enthusiastic about working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of the team, you will assist with activities of daily living and provide essential support to our residents.

Schedule:

  • Sunday: 8 am to 4 pm
  • Monday to Thursday: 7 am to 3 pm

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License (NY State preferred)
  • Experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Willingness to undergo necessary state-mandated training
  • Completion of Tuberculosis test (provided at no cost)
