*As a Johnstone Buyer for Special Orders, your responsibilities will include:*
Determining pricing, freight, and lead-times on non-stock quotations, utilizing company guidelines and website.
Communicating timely and effectively with stakeholders.
Procure non-stock and direct ship orders, utilizing MRP system and Company guidelines.
Track and confirm Purchase Orders.
Ensures accurate cost from vendor and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
Communicates pricing and lead time issue to sales people and updates PO with information.
Receives all direct ship non-corporate purchase orders.
Work hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with holidays and weekends off.

**Required Skills/Experience**
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED), some higher education preferred
+ Two to five years of related experience, including training, in inventory and/or warranty
+ or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to calculate cost/sell, discounts and percentages.
Use of basic algebra concepts.
Intermediate Excel knowledge.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service-related skills
Ability to build strong business relationships with vendors, customers, and co-workers
Ability to manage work time and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders (sales people, Branch Managers, etc)
Detail oriented.
HVAC experience highly desirable.
