Live-In Caregiver/ Paid Roommate (flexible schedule)

  • Live-in caregivers have minimal hour commitments

Location: Circle Pines, MN

Rate of Pay: $17.00/hour +$3/hour weekend differential for awake hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays

Living Arrangement: A beautiful 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo with a condo and garage

Dependable, along with an individual and her family, are looking for live-in caregiver to reside and support a young female individual in Circle Pines. Ideally, this someone is interested in being a part of her life for the long haul.

This individual works about 25 hours/week at her job as a para. She is quiet, friendly, high functioning, with mild cognitive impairment.

The live-in caregiver is eligible to receive a monthly reimbursement for rent as well as a food stipend. Additionally, the caregiver will provide direct support to this individual and will receive compensation as an employee of Dependable. Ideal applicants will be interested in being a part of these individual's lives.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a Department of Human Services background check
  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Strength in flexibility and problem solving
  • Applicants must have a passion for helping the individuals we support by helping them feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives.
  • Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is welcomed, but not required
