Our maintenance team is responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including curb appeal, preventative maintenance, apartment turnovers, service requests, and building relationships with residents, contractors, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Requests: Complete daily service requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Requests may include, but are not limited to:

  • Plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs
  • Installation and repair of fixtures and appliances
  • Cabinetry installation and repair
  • Appliance installation and repair
  • Change bulbs, locks, batteries, and smoke detectors
  • Repair and replacement of windows and patio doors/screens
  • Painting, caulking, and drywall repair
  • Repair and removal of flooring, trim, and carpeting
  • Insulation and demolition
  • Rot repair and mold remediation
  • Repair and installation of interior and exterior doors
  • Garage door repair and adjustment
  • Maintenance of community and exercise room equipment
  • Renovation clean-up

Turnovers: Complete apartment turnovers within a 24-hour time frame.

Common Area Maintenance:

  • Painting and exterior maintenance
  • Snow removal and salting/brining of parking lots and sidewalks
  • Lawncare and landscaping
  • Renovation clean-up
  • Dumpster site clean-up

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
  • On-call required for emergency repairs

Requirements:

  • Maintenance experience with commercial or multi-family buildings (preferred)

Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to respond to changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Ability to stand, lift, climb, bend, push, pull, and kneel
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive or personal information
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle (required for driving between locations)
