Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges. You will help them with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
  • Help individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Assist individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
  • Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.

Requirements

  • No experience required.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
  • Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
