What Does This Role Entail?

The Practice Operations Partner, a key member of our team, plays a crucial role in managing clinic operations. Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, this individual ensures a seamless experience from the moment patients arrive.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, handling administrative tasks, and collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Welcome and communicate with patients
  • Manage incoming calls and messages
  • Assist with administrative requests
  • Handle mail, faxes, and document management
  • Support patient inquiries and appointment scheduling
  • Verify insurance and process claims
  • Coordinate transportation for patients
  • Collaborate with the care team for patient care

Requirements for the Position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical clinic front desk role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic office tools
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work full-time in a clinic setting
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing and coding
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record software
  • Previous work in primary care
  • Experience with diverse populations
  • Fluency in additional languages

Location and Hours

This position is based at our Dorchester, MA clinic, operating Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Free onsite parking is available.
