Senior Business Analyst

at our innovative company, you'll play a pivotal role in our implementation team.

Here's what you'll be doing:
You'll be the go-to Subject Matter Expert, meticulously analyzing, organizing, and modeling well-written requirement documentation. Your excellent communication skills will shine as you collaborate internally and engage with clients.

With your strong leadership abilities, you'll provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, training, and support to our talented team of Business Analysts.

As an essential part of our growth initiatives, you'll participate in project planning, scoping exercises, and contribute to pre-sales work.

Your expertise in the Agile methodology will guide others, and you'll actively support the Project Manager in scope management and change control at the project level.

Additionally, you'll be involved in sprint planning activities, developing and executing conceptual sprint plans.
Technical skills are vital, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Familiarity with Duck Creek, or similar P&C Insurance Billing Platform is REQUIRED.

Strong written and verbal communication is a must, and your motivation, self-starting attitude, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will set you apart.

Your organizational skills and ability to thrive under pressure will ensure your success.
Education and experience-wise, a bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field is a plus. You should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in Business Analysis within the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
Knowledge of Duck Creek, Guidewire, or BriteCore is REQUIRED, and familiarity with Scrum/Agile Methodology is a strong advantage. Certifications such as AINS, IIBA, and SAFe Product Owner will add further value to your profile.

What You'll Do:
Analyze, organize, and model well written requirement documentation, without ambiguity and with traceability
Accomplish all Business Analyst tasks for larger and more complex projects
Participate in project planning, scoping exercises, and take an active role with business stakeholder initiatives
Work with the Lead Business Analyst and other stakeholders to assess current capabilities and identify customer requirements
Elicit detailed product requirements and use cases to develop and maintain the business requirements
Transition the requirements and use cases to the technical team and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
Facilitate transition of requirements to Development and Quality Assurance teams
Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, training, and support to all Business Analysts
Provide widget estimate to Business Architect
Execute conceptional sprint plan
Participate in company growth initiatives/pre-sales work

What You'll Bring:
Experience with the Duck Creek, or similar Billing platform - *REQUIRED*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter
Can work independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodology
8+ years of relevant Business Analysis experience
