- Link success and failure metrics from previous projects to ongoing initiatives, including profitability assessments post-award to ensure expected margins are achieved.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape related to contract and spot business acquisitions, translating insights to commercial sales teams.
- Comprehend enterprise strategies aimed at increasing market share and support these initiatives with data-driven insights.
- Assess the risk profile of business opportunities from both profit/loss and credit perspectives.
- Provide innovative and unconventional solutions to business challenges, collaborating with sales and operations to enhance customer offerings, such as addressing backhaul needs in dedicated fleet proposals.
- Identify avenues for performance enhancement and results optimization across the organization.
- Analyze purchasing trends and the strengths and weaknesses of fleet development to strategically inform bidding processes.
- Collaborate with operations, accounting, sales, and relevant leadership to ensure cohesive efforts.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience handling large datasets.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Effective time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in the transportation sector.
- Familiarity with transport solutions design within automated pricing frameworks.
- Understanding of PTI sectors, clientele, and product offerings.
- Experience utilizing technology for data manipulation and modeling.
- Knowledge of network design and operational processes.
- Ability to devise innovative solutions to challenges and articulate original concepts.
- Capability to identify methods for enhancing efficiency and service quality.
