Job title: Verification of Benefits Specialist

Duration: 6+ Month (Temp to Perm)

Location: 6600 Pinecrest, Plano, TX onsite

Pay Range: 18$-20$ per hour


Job Description:

  • HS diploma required, AA a plus
  • 2+ yrs experience in a medical approval environment
  • Knowledge of private insurance and Medicare guidelines
  • Experience in medical device or DME Billing a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Medical billing software experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of current CPT codes and ICD-10CM
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with insurance carriers
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Training/presenting abilities
  • Strong understanding of co-insurance and benefits
