Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Delta Electronics Americas. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine accounting functions, including reviewing invoices, preparing voucher entries, and processing payment requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Invoice Review: Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  2. Voucher Preparation: Prepare Accounts Payable voucher entries.
  3. Vendor Communication: Work with coworkers to resolve vendor issues.
  4. Payment Processing: Process payment requests.
  5. Accounting Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting accurate accounting transactions through the system and avoid manual posting.
  6. Sales Tax Verification: Work with users and confirm correct sales taxes are imposed.
  7. Project Support: Support with various projects assigned to the team.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  2. Experience: At least three years AP experience is required.
  3. Skills: Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Attention to Detail: Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks.
  5. Team Player: Team player and have the ability to work independently.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SAP ERP system.
