- Registers patients by collecting and verifying insurance information, ensuring accurate demographic data.
- Directs patients to appropriate waiting areas and provides clear instructions.
- Accepts payments for physician/clinic services, posts payments, and generates daily payment reports.
- Responds to routine inquiries and escalates concerns to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Aids with medical records duties, including chart retrieval, sorting, and filing.
- Excellent listening, social, and communication skills, with professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to adjust communication style to suit different audiences.
- Knowledge of patient registration procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures and documentation.
- Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
