Production Assistant

Summary /Objective

The production assistant supports the production team with data governance using AS400. This role is in charge of creating styles at the seasonal level and maintaining in-season changes for all market brand offers. The Production Assistant is in charge of sample order management.

Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Data governance: Create sample and production styles for all markets. Update the system for in-season changes including the cost, style details, and drops. Partner with merchant and PD teams to proactively cross-check data across different platforms to eliminate errors in data governance.
  • Sample management: Create POs for salesman samples, marketing samples, and athlete samples. Create the WIP tracking charts to communicate delivery status with internal/external partners. Receive shipments in AS400. Review and confirm cost on invoice and partner with the Finance team to ensure sample invoices are uploaded in the internal system on time.
  • Special projects: Take on and complete special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and Windows.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and flexibility in a changing environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferable in Business, Operations & Supply Chain Management Will consider work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Production or Product Development.
