Overview:

As a Pharmacy Benefits Project Manager at NFP Rx Solution, you will lead initiatives focused on optimizing prescription benefits for self-funded employers.

This role requires a deep understanding of prescription benefit management, healthcare regulations, and project management best practices.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross- functional teams to implement tailored solutions, ensuring cost-effective and efficient prescription benefit programs for our clients.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverablesCommunicate "Our Value Added Service"Proficient on PBM marketplace, including carrier contacts and and servicesMonitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategiesCollaborate with department heads to identify and assign skilled team members to projectsImplement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet client expectationsManage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs effectivelyMaintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and status reportsPresent a positive image of self and of VPS / NFP, in and out of the officeMinimum Requirements for Education, Experience, and Certifications/Licenses:Bachelor's degreePrefer 5 years' experience in PBM or related industry experience in projectQualifications & Skills:Thorough knowledge of the Employee Benefits industry, and PBM specificallyAbility to interpret industry policies and contract documents, proposals, and other documentationAbility to respond efficiently and accurately to common inquiries or complaints from customers or carrierAbility to effectively present information to insured clients and their respective carriersExcellent oral and written communication skills and command of the English languageAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts such as percentages, adding, subtracting, multiplying and division to required tasksHigh degree of critical thinking, organizational and decision making skillsHigh degree of initiativeHigh degree of attention to detailAbility to function independently with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize multiple projects and meet objectives and deadlines established by supervisor and clients, often with short turnaround timesAbility to maintain positive and beneficial relationships with department staff, numerous internal departments, external customers, agents, and subscribersProficient in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to comply with company confidentiality requirements as well as with HIPAA and other applicable government regulationsTravel:This position may require travel 5% of the time, with occasional overnight trips
