Role Overview

  • Monitor & approve cycle counts
  • Conduct audits on receiving
  • Implement processes to enhance inventory control
  • Collaborate with Work Order Specialist on issue resolution
  • Review Monday reports with departments to address concerns
  • Verify adherence to procedures by auditing order pickers & pullers
  • Audit offsite vendors with inventory presence
  • Ensure cycle count accuracy
  • Discuss inventory matters with Inventory Manager
  • Conduct shop floor walk-throughs to locate misplaced inventory
  • Supervise consolidation of offsite warehouses into a central one
  • Address overages, shortages, and damaged inventory
  • Assist in rectifying shipping errors
  • Manage corporate SOX inventory controls
  • Act as key liaison for import/export and international affairs to ensure compliance with government norms in foreign trade and logistics
  • Maintain an import/export compliance and procedures program
  • Keep track of all essential documentation and filing
  • Coordinate with Forwarders/Brokers per company instructions
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Monitor US trade legislation and offer insights based on changes
  • Undertake assigned duties
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Passing results in drug screening & background check
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in PC skills (e.g., MS Office)
  • Knowledge of import/export processes and international freight
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Preference for experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Familiarity with HS coding and regulations a plus
  • Ability to solve problems in standardized situations
  • Proficient in basic mathematical operations
  • Sound planning & organizational capabilities
  • Familiarity with JDE
  • Understanding of shop safety standards from prior experience
  • Awareness of occupational hazards & safety protocols
  • Highly organized & adept at multitasking
  • Perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate business requirements
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
