The Preconstruction Engineer supports Estimating and the Pursuit teams in the development of estimating pursuits on large, complex heavy civil projects for bid-build, design-build, CM/GC, PPP and EPC contracts.

The Preconstruction Engineer supports the development of these pursuits through the development of sequencing, means and methods and logistics approaches, and coordinates with the development of the pre-bid schedule and technical proposal.

The Preconstruction Engineer will be a self-starter and work efficiently.

The Preconstruction Engineer must be able to meet critical deadlines and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preconstruction Engineer Required Qualifications:
Experience with design-build proposal technical writing

Experience working with Primavera P6 schedules (does not need to be proficient with the software)

10+ years (15 years preferred) of experience in construction involved with projects and pursuits of varying size, scope and delivery methods

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or similar technical training / experience.
