Summary:
\Plans and directs all aspects of financial and accounting activities atthe facility through subordinates and supervisors. Help to facilitatethe optimum efficiency, maximize profits and provide exceptionalcustomer service for the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
\Develop and implement facility goals and priorities relating tofinancial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll incompliance with State and Federal law, and policies and procedures.\Monitor ASM Global compliance with all provisions of the managementcontract.\Review all contracts for client, events, subcontractors, food andbeverage or concessionaires.\Review and/or prepares event settlements.\Review and executes all checks and deposits, reviews daily cash receiptsand disbursements.\Monitor and projects monthly cash flow; works closely with the City foroperational funding.\Oversees the accounting and follows proper purchasing protocols for allCIP projects and works closely with the City to ensure all requireddocumentation is maintained.\Implement facility policies and goals in accordance with the managementcontract, clients objectives, and corporate policy.\Meet with department heads to review monthly financials and discussbudget vs. actual results.\Assist in the development of long-range plans and program objectives inaccordance with the management contract and corporate policy.\Ensure all codes, laws, ordinances, policies, procedures, riskmanagement, safety precautions, rules, regulations and emergencyprocedures are followed.\Prepare the annual financial budget and capital project budget.\Establish and maintain contact with booking agents, promoters, eventorganizers and others within the industry to encourage continual andregular use of the facility.\Conduct post-event operational and financial review and analysis.\Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, andholidays.\Prepares financial statements for the Client and ASM Global Corporate,and other financial reports, including monthly statements, Annual Budgetand Annual Report.\Directs internal and external audits involving review of accounting andadministrative controls.\Coordinates preparation of Client or external audit materials andfinancial reporting; implements recommendations of Client as requested.\Presents monthly financial statements to client in a clear, concisemanner that is easily understood.\Serve as Manager on Duty for various events.\Position requires the ability to work at all local ASM Global venues.\Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
\Manages and supervises the finance department and is responsible for theoverall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the financedepartment. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance withASM Global\'s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities includeinterviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, anddirecting work; appraising performance; rewarding; discipliningemployees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints andresolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
\B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university\5 to 7 y ars experience in public accounting and/or financial managementat a supervisory level or as department head\Minimum of five (5) years industry experience with at least three (3)years in management function of an arena, convention center or stadiumpreferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
\Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting.\Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures.\Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and organizationalability.\Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety ofinterruptions.\Ability to work with and maintain highly confiden
