Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee facilities and infrastructure management to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Direct routine and emergency maintenance, and manage vendor-provided facility services
  • Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and development in alignment with Agency goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures, manage direct reports, and conduct site inspections
  • Provide overall facility coordination for Transportation, Warehouses, Plant, Administrative offices, Stores, ADC's, and all other Agency facilities and equipment
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and demonstrated skill in building systems operations, maintenance, repair, safety, custodial, construction methods, and facility management
  • Ability to direct facility functions, implement policies and safety procedures, engage with vendors and contractors, minimize hazards, prepare facility budgets, monitor expenditures, design, plan, and coordinate remodeling and refurbishment initiatives, test equipment, assist with space needs, and ensure compliance with zoning laws and safety rules and regulations as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • Good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, broad knowledge of business functions, and project management experience
  • Valid Kansas driver's license and be insurable to operate company vehicles
