Position Overview:

As an HR Generalist at Your Green Package, you will be a key driver in supporting our HR department in various aspects of human resources management. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our company's success by ensuring HR practices and policies are consistently implemented, fostering a positive work environment that values diversity, promoting education, and supporting our employees' growth and development. This position offers a blend of in-office and remote work, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns and grievances in a timely and fair manner, reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our core values.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies by proactively addressing and following up with staff members in the event of policy violations.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate a smooth onboarding process, emphasizing the importance of education and growth.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with Massachusetts and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Assist in employee record-keeping and HR documentation, upholding our commitment to success through accuracy and transparency.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and enrollments, ensuring that our workforce is well-informed and supported.
  • Performance Management:
  • Support the performance appraisal process, including goal-setting and feedback.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters, helping employees achieve their full potential and contributing to their success.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for employees, promoting continuous education and growth.
  • Assist in the development of career development plans, furthering our commitment to success.
  • Workplace Safety:
  • Collaborate with the Safety team to ensure a safe working environment, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our diverse workforce.
  • Assist in the management of workers' compensation claims, contributing to the overall success of our safety programs.
  • HR Reporting:
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making, enhancing our commitment to success through informed choices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification is a plus).
  • 2+ years of HR generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Massachusetts employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive problem solver and a team player.

Work Schedule:

  • Onsite at our Natick HQ Monday - Friday
