JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic IT engineer to join our team. The role involves contributing to the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a growing infrastructure that supports seamless collaboration within a large global organization. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to new concepts, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable with pre-scheduled on-call rotations, including weekends.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide escalation support
  • Offer regular status updates
  • Collaborate with vendors on beta deployments
  • Manage daily tasks effectively
  • Implement infrastructure through CLI-based coding
  • Automate tasks for efficiency
  • Coordinate with teams and vendors for updates and issue resolution
  • Clear communication with a diverse audience
  • Address security vulnerabilities in Windows and Linux systems
REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-5+ years' experience in IT systems engineering or operations
  • Proficiency in Coding, particularly React or Python
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux
  • Deployment of applications and virtual machines
  • Independent problem-solving skills
  • Configuration of network and security tools
  • System vulnerability management
  • Automation experience in Powershell, Bash, Chef, or Ansible
  • Utilization of REST APIs for data retrieval
  • Programming skills in Python, PHP, or equivalent
  • Support for developer environments and version control
  • Familiarity with database management and analytics tools

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Experience in A/V, Collaboration, or video conferencing environments
  • Background in Identity services and access control
  • Performance optimization for servers, networks, and storage
  • Legacy application upgrades and scripted environments
